Drinking and Pairing Falanghina with Food

Falanghina is one of a trio of dry, crisp, and medium-bodied white wines that includes Greco di Tufo and Fiano di Avellino. These three are consumed habitually in their native region of Campania in Italy. Falanghina is an old varietal and may have been a component in Falernum, the most renowned wine of ancient Rome.

The mineral and zesty lemon flavor of this wine makes it an ideal partner to fritto di pesce, the salty and tasty “mixed fry” of fish one can buy from street vendors in Naples.
